Many miles travelled, but many more to go.
It’s August 14, after Canyonlands we entered Colorado and we arrived in Cortez.
After a night in Cortez we took our car to visit Mesa Verde National Park.
Mesa Verde is a Spanish term for “green table”, and it’s full of ancient stone villages builded by Indians from AD 600-1300. Mesa Verde is very interesting but after a while is a bit repetitive!
We leave Mesa Verde and we entered Monument Valley, in the middle of the Navajo reservation.
I have few worlds to descrive such a mesmerizing landscape!
We also spent the night in a hogan, a typical navajo house, in the middle of Monument Valley!
